I'm afraid they don't call me Tater Salad, and I won't be delivering the One Ring to Mordor in the forseeable future. I will, however, lead a group of adventurers onto the back of a flying whale to fight a cult leader with some bizarre minions and a penchant for bloody sacrifice.

Some people type paragraphs about the happenings in their lives and put them on the Internet, hoping that others will find it entertaining. I don't have too many happenings, but I do have a vibrant emotional life that I know how to put into words. This LiveJournal is where I put treatises about my emotional state that may or may not contain tidbits of related events in my life.

But the rest of me--now that's a riot. I'm a biology major in college and the only one of my friends that isn't planning on going to medical school. Mom's in denial about that, and I can't get enough of it. I want to watch animals and write books about them that no one will read, making just enough money to pay my electric bill and maybe even eat occasionally. I also want many bizarre pets: an Odontodactylus scyllarus mantis shrimp, an Osteoglossum ferrarai black arowana, the list goes on. I play D&D in my spare time and I read obsessively. I have "ladying" problems, as the Great and Mighty Strong Bad would put it, but I can deal with that. Anything else? Read, silly, or contact me!
